August 11, 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. Berlin (2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Eastern USA) in Smerrr paltalk room for a panel discussion on “Charting a unifying strategy and alliance for the Eritrean opposition movement to defeat the PFDJ regime.” The panel will feature three activists who have recently written interrelated papers that are timely, insightful, and thought provoking in relation to the topic of discussion.

The goal of this session is to explore and assess the current state of the opposition movement in general and the “youth movement” in particular, the strengths and weaknesses with respect to PFDJ, what needs to be done in terms of unifying the movement, and how to bring about greater engagement. These are just some of the issues to be dealt with by our panel.
